Sierra Trading Post Sets Record for Yearly Customer Savings
Customers Save $360 Million Off Retail Prices in 2011Cheyenne, Wyo. Jan. 13, 2012 – Multichannel retailer Sierra Trading Post reports the best year of customer savings in its history. A purveyor of brand-name products at 35-70% savings every day, Sierra Trading Post saved shoppers $360 million off retail prices in 2011. The previous record was $343 million in 2010.
“In December alone, we helped shoppers save more than $45 million off retail prices on gifts, sporting goods, home essentials, and winter gear, outerwear and footwear,” says Gary Imig, president of Sierra Trading Post.

Sierra Trading Post recently replenished its post-holiday inventory with closeout winter collections from Columbia, Teva, SmartWool, ExOfficio, Gramicci, Woolrich and more.
“With new inventory arriving every day, we currently have the best selection of winter product in company history,” says Jeremiah Mackmiller, general merchandise manager for Sierra Trading Post. “Plus, we’re headed to more than a dozen shows in the next month to add even more great deals. Those shows include Outdoor Retailer, SIA Snow Show, ISPO in Munich, Magic and the PGA Show.”
