I have a high instep and really worry about ordering western boots on-line. I ordered one pair of these and then a second at STP's amazing sale price. A great distressed look and a slightly wider fit than normal "N" series Lucchese's,these are masperpieces and are probably going to be worth just as much as you paid for them in 10 years..

Luccheses are normally considered fashion boots even if they are distressed like the Mad Goat series.

But you can really use these for work, clean them off, and be ready for an evening in your local honky tonk, I wouldn't wear them with a suit, but with jeans and a nice shirt the contrast is guaranteed to draw compliments.

I haven't seen them anywhere else but Sierra Trading Post and I consider them to be one of the supreme bargains in cowboy boots.

As usual, Sierra Trading Post customer service is the equal or superior of anybody on the internet.

As I said, I love these ultra comfortable and durable boots enough to have two pairs. If you can still find a pair, get 'em. Just slightly wide, but otherwise true to normal Lucchese sizing.

leather was designed to appear distressed but it was overdone and just looked abused. Fit was good

Love Lucchese boots, and these did not disappoint! The STP price and customer care made them even more attractive!

I have a high instep and really worry about ordering western boots on-line. I had recently bought a pair of Nocona boots from Sierra and they stated that they ran large, so I ordered 1/2 size smaller than normal and they fit well...snug, but well and the length is right on. So, I thought I'd try a pair of Lucchese. The crackle leather finish intrigued me so I ordered this pair. Since there was no notation of size irregularities, I ordered my normal size. These are spot on! Went on without needing to be stretched at the instep and are super comfortable. Very nice boots, and a bargain at the price I got them for. Now, about the crackle leather finish.....Look at it carefully in the enlarged view. These boots are a conversation piece. They really are different from anything I've ever seen, and I like them. They will not take polishing to a high sheen....and brown polish tones down the crackle finish. I don't understand why kids buy jeans with holes in them..like the ones I used to throw out, but I can see buying these boots. They look well worn in and the texture is rough, but they have a rugged good look about them. I'm totally satisfied with this purchase.
