5.0 out of 5 stars. Not a work bootReviewed by Anonymous from Virginia on Sunday, February 8, 2015This is a very nice western boot. Like most boots not made in Asia, it runs larger than expected. I wear a size 12 running shoe and the 11D fit pretty well, maybe a touch long and a touch narrow, but pretty close. This is a nicely finished boot! I was somewhat expecting a work style boot based on the photos, but this ain't it. It has a very shiny finish with high quality leather. I ordered the "chocolate" color, but it looks gray to me. Overall, very nice and comfortable boot, clearly a nice product even if not up to par with the higher end Lucchese lines.

It's well made, great leather, detailed, stylish,Chocolate color is my favorite and price is perfect. You can wear them with all color jeans, slim or skinny, khakis etc.
I went and ordered size 9.5 D, but it was tooo large for me. My foot was jumping/moving up and down and also it looked toooo looong (Charlie Chaplin) style. I was pretty upset, because I always wear boots sizes 9.5-10 and shoes 9-9.5 depending on the brand and style and I have many of them.
I decided to go with size 8.5 when I ordered the second pair and it was the right choice. It was the the first time in my life that such small size fitted me perfectly. I can wear it with a thin to a medium thick socks,but when I tried the thick, winter sock it was already too tight.
I think that size 9 would fit me too, but then it would still look too long with skinny/slim jeans. I hate when my footware looks longer than is supposed to be. It just not pretty.
If I was little taller, I'm 177cm then it would look that long so you have to keep in mind your height too. I'm very picky when it comes to shoes, clothes and every little detail is very important for me.
I would recommend this boots to all my friends and everyone else who loves boots in general. But must do advice would be to go 0.5 - 1 size smaller if your were D (medium).
One more thing: I have similar style Los Altos boots size 10 and after comparing them with Lucchese 9.5, Lucchese was 0.5 - 0.8 cm longer then Los Altos 10. weird, but true.

I wear a size 10 to 10-1/2in dress shoes, in running shoes I wear an 11-1/2, that being said in the Lucchese boots 9-1/2is the perfect fit. The distressed leather boot requires no break in period, they are comfortable straight out of the box. They look great with jeans and have received lots of compliments. This is my third pair of Lucchese and the price was a super bargain at $150.00....very very happy.

Good trendy-worn look. I usaully wear a 13EE in Lucchese because they tend to run narrow, so originally I ordered a 14 since they didn't have EE's. They were indeed wide enough, but far too long, so I exchanged them for the 13D, which seems to be OK. A little narrow, but because they are very soft leather and round-toed, just wide enough. So probably true to size since my foot's a tiny bit wide and these are a tiny bit narrow for them, and my toes are not at the end.
