Lucky World® by Mephisto Santory Sneakers with Cross Straps (For Women)

I' ve worn Mephisto for about fifteen years. I bought my first pair because I sustained injuries to my legs and ankles while on an overseas lecture tour. I swear by Mephisto for comfort, make, craftsmanship and longevity.They are expensive [...] But price isn't as important as quality. My feet suffer when I wear cheap shoes.

I was really disappointed with these! Although I loved the way they looked, they were terribly uncomfortable, not to mention I couldn't fit in either size I tried. I'm between a 6 and 61/2, depending on the manufacturer. I tried the 6 in these and they were so narrow, they crushed my pinky toe. Then I bought the 61/2 and I felt like I had clown shoes on there was so much room in the toe. They felt very stiff and extremely cheap when I walked in them. For the money and name known for comfort these are a big disappointment and shock. I would like to know who finds these comfortable if they can even fit into them!

These shoes were a real disappointment. I've had several pairs of Mephistoes and they were of superior quality, fitting well and very functional. These came nowhere close. Returned after a quick look.

Bought these in sliver and loved the style. I wear a lot of black and sliver so these go with just about every thing. Comfortable right from the start.

very narrow and my toes hurt.

The Lucky World Santory Sneakers feel true to size in length, but they are badly mismarked as a Medium width; the shoes are painfully narrow -- to the point where my feet and toes became numb within fifteen minutes of first wearing them around the house. Furthermore, the soles of the shoes are too stiff, too thin and too noisy on wooden floors. However, I do like the cross straps, the velcro closures, and the shoes' overall design, and I especially like the metallic leather highlights incorporated into the design. Overall, though, I feel disappointed in these shoes; they are hardly up to Mephisto's usual high standards of both great comfort and good looks.

I had to return the product and incur the shipping charge because this product does not run true to size as other Mephisto products do.

So Cute! Would be very comfortable for those with slightly narrow feet. If your feet are slightly wide or you need lots of toe room, these aren't good shoes for you.
