“Biggest problem is they don't last forever, but I use them hard. Mephistos were recommended by my podiatrist for my back pain and foot problems, short leg and bunions. These work, most other shoes don't. I walk miles a day, all surfaces and the cross-banding make for good side support and security as well as a fast put-on which doesn't aggravate my back. They fit like gloves and I can tighten them right up when I know the footing will be bad.”
