    In Delta Junction, Alaska, it gets COLD (-70F and colder, last winter). Good gear is imperative. We've already had -25F and colder this year. I'd rate it a 5-star, but nothing beats 100% leather and fur. However, these hats are the bomb! (Oh, what's the temp with wind chill? ... LOL! We use ambient temps, here.)

    I ordered a full size larger than my normal, as per previous experience and online warnings about this brand, and it's still a bit too small, but close enough to keep. Replaces a 10 year old model that finally tore. Best protection against Wisconsin winters, and displays just a bit of panache (at least that's how I prefer to think of it). If you can handle relatives "amusing" comments, go for it.

    This is a good bargin if you're into that style of headgear...nice warm and wind proof, for cold outdoor activities that will not make you physically warm, such as fishing, laying in wait or enjoying a campfire in below 30 F weather. Not the best choice if you break into a sweat during your outdoor activity as it will make a mess of the inside.
