“Sizing is completely off”

“I know that climbing shoes should be ordered at the size or half size below your normal street shoe size to fit correctly, but the sizing on these shoes is completely wrong, even accounting for the fact that Mad Rock runs smaller than other brands. I wear a women's US size 5.5 (with no socks) in street shoes and this typically translates for my climbing shoes; I can even size down to women's US size 5 sometimes. Reading the previous reviews and having tried on other Mad Rock shoes in store (granted, not the Maniacs - but I figured the sizing would be similar across shoes), I ordered the women's US6 in the Maniacs. The heel cup is insanely deep and I can barely even get my foot into the shoe. Sending these back ASAP. I'd need at least a full size up to even have a snug fit in these shoes; when I put them on for the first time, my toes were bent backwards and underneath my foot.”
