Closeouts. Dobby Glen appropriately describes the crisp plaid in these summerweight pants from Madison Hill, which get an extra dose of visual texture from the vertical dot clusters woven on a Dobby loom.

Mostly cotton, but looks all linen. Great sketched lines to plaid. Effect is more horizontal like picture, no vertical 'dots' as described. Very simple , clean lines. Hollywood waist (no band) and straight legs. Picture looks flared, but legs are just straight. Fit is generous and long (32").

I was unfamiliar with the Madison Hill brand, but I'm glad I went ahead and bought these. They are classy sophisticated, but not frumpy. The fit is very feminine and they can go well with boots or pumps. They are made well too.

I needed some nice looking casual pants that I could wear a few times until I lose some weight. These fit the bill for the price and are attractive. The zipper is on the wrong side (left) but if you can get past that they are fine. The belt included is pretty cheap.

The picture doesn't do these pants justice. It makes them look really wild. The print is much more subtle. The fabric with very light-weight, so these are best for spring/summer. And machine washable--yes!!
