Madison Hill

I bought this skirt to wear out to dinner whilst on holiday to Thailand later this year. I needed a skirt that was light weight and easy care and I think this one will do nicely. First of all, the skirt looks and feels really feminine and the fabric appears to be of good quality. I don't know how well it will wash, but I think that I will handwash and dripdry it to be on the safe side. I ordered an XL as I need the room at my tummy and hips. This made the waist a little big, however as I wear my tops out, I can put a little tuck in the waist and it will not show. I am 5'5" and the skirt nearly reaches my ankles. This is longer than I would normally wear, however when I tried it on with strappy sandals and even black pumps, it looked really nice. I think this is because the fabric is so soft that it falls nicely. It doesn't 'poof' out and make me look bottom heavy like some longish skirts do. All in all, a nice looking skirt that I look forward to wearing.

I orderd a second one of these in a different color. Difficult to find a short-sleeve shirt that will cover the upper arms.

These were quite a bit too long for me, but I'd rather see a manufacturer err on the side of abundance, so I don't really mind having to get them hemmed. They're very nicely sewn, though I would note that the zipper opens the wrong way for right-handers. I wanted to wash them before getting them hemmed, just to be sure there wasn't any shrinkage. I didn't put them in the machine because I didn't have anything else that needed washing, and so handwashed them like I do my linen: put them gently in a large container of water for a bit. Did not wring or squeeze, but gently pulled the legs as straight as I could and hung them to dry. This works fine with linen, but these pants became very wrinkled. They will need to be ironed (sob!). I would recommend them only to friends who don't mind ironing!

I bought two colors in a size medium. The colors are very nice, as is the fabric, so I wish I could say I like these tops. Unfortunately, my bra straps show in back, and I hate that so I'm returning both tops.

This shirt is a comfortable option for work. The overlap edges need to be ironed to lie flat after washing, which is tricky with the design. If you don't mind ironing, it is nice.

I gave several of these to my mother for wearing around and she really likes them.

This is a great tank except that I don't like the way it's cut. I prefer a longer, more shapley top and this is just too short and a bit boxy for my build. I wear low cut jeans and my tops need to be at least 25" long in a size small, this just was too short, if that doesn't bother you, you'll love it. Quality material, nice colors, just not my style.

Difficult to find a short sleeve shirt with style AND with sleeves long eough to cover my baggy upper arms. Ordered the other color as well.

This jacket is so beautiful. I wore it yesterday and received so many compliments. Great construction; great value.

Bought 2 and both have a boxy fit. They are shorter in length than I thought and than I like. The arm holes are too short also, so they ride up in my armpit. Material is soft and a medium weight (actually heavier than I like for 100+ degree summers here). I would have returned these for the poor fit, but they made it into the laundry pile and were washed before I realized it.
