Fabulous garment. So glad I sprung for it. Definitely the nicest blouse in my wardrobe. First, the hammered silk has a sumptuously sleek hand, delivering an almost seductive feel against your skin. Its flattering empire front enhances the figure, while the gathers at the back of the neck give this garment a comfortable flexibility of wear. And the workmanship is superb: I did expect self-covered buttons, but I did not expect the French seams--a very high-end touch, and perfectly in keeping with a garment of this quality. I just wish I had also bought it in black, because now they're out of my size. But at least I snagged this gorgeous ivory beauty.

You can wear the collar buttoned up or open at the neck. The "hammered" pattern is wonderful: it is subtle and it obscures lines from undergarments that can be visible under a delicate fabric. The fabric, construction and fit of this blouse are so good it is actually quite comfortable to wear. After I wore the black one, I bought it in ivory too.
