    This is a high end dress that looks like the ones you find in boutiques, not chain stores. The gathered detail from the waist and the back do no show up in the pic- but makes this dress special. The cotton material eliminates this dress for highly dressy occasions, but allows it be be worn just about everywhere else. It would fit in going to market with flops, office with heels or casual wedding. It fit perfectly and wide waist belt is flattering. I am 5'7" and wear dress size 10. Hem hits just above the knee.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I needed something to wear for a wedding. It was a casual outdoor wedding, so it worked out perfect. Beading is nice, but one side kept folding in probably because of the weight. Fabric is fine, but typical cotton. So, I don't think it looks as expensive as what the price tag says. And, it easily get wrinkled.
