Maggy London Embroidered Cotton Sheath Dress - Sleeveless (For Women)

Great summer dress. I followed other comments and ordered a size up (normally sz-8, but ordered sz-10). Fits very well -- I have a normal (cup-B) chest. Contrary to another comment, I found that I am easily able to wear a bra with this dress. Straps do not show at all. This dress has a cute, figure-flattering design. Very classic and even conservative (think Jackie Kennedy!) and fun. Slightly short; wish it were 1" longer, but it's still a keeper.

I wore this dress to a special evening event and got MANY compliments on it. It's unique and flattering, very sophisticated.

This dress fits true to size with a bit (but not too much) extra room in the chest area. It has open slits that I did not see in the pic, but they are very cute and not too revealing. This is a nice fabric with an embroidered print. You can dress it up or down. I will get many wears out of this dress.

I only decided to rate this dress because I was surprised to find out that the back was like a sundress, just straps. It can be worn without a bra, so no worries from that aspect. But, I was looking for a sleeveless dress and this has too much back exposed for my purposes.

Very nice dress but returned both after trying two different sizes. Something about the fit in the bodice. If it fits you, it's a great little dress.

This is a great dress that could easily go dressy or casual. A note on size -- I have two other Maggy London dresses, both size 4, both fit me perfectly. The 4 wasn't available for this dress, so I ordered a 2 and 6. The 6 fits perfectly. The label on the inside says "Muse" so perhaps this dress is part of the Maggy London line that is sized differently. I think this is also a dress that would look good on a wide variety of ages. The design on the fabric doesn't look too busy, and is embroidered on, not printed.

This is a great dress with some nice detailing and a great shape and flattering...fit me perfectly. I think it will be a great travel dress that can be dressed up or down and will also make a great summer work dress with a cardigan...because the back is kind of low.

Read the reviews and realized that the bust would work fine for me -- I've got narrow shoulders for my frame and a B cup, so it fits me perfectly. The photos may not show the 4-5 slits in the bodice top. Since I didn't want my bra straps to show (and they clearly showed through the slits), I hand-stitched the two outer slits shut and no one will ever notice. One seam on the back was pulled open [...], but the fabric wasn't ripped, and I could easily re-sew the seam. I also shortened the straps an inch for a better fit in the bodice. Why all the alterations? I like the fabric and I think it's a cute dress. I see myself wearing it with capri-length leggings and heels for dressy casual. Nice fabric, cute style, and nothing really fits great off the rack.

This is a great little dress! Order one size larger. I'm a small size 4 & the 6 is snug. Because of the low back, which you can't tell in the photo, you'll need a jacket or sweater to wear it to work.
