Maggy London Jacket - Denim Burnout (For Women)

THis jacket is really nice. The handiwork is actually pretty amazing - all of these denim pieces are cut out and then sewn onto black mesh, constructed into a jacket. I love the black lace trim. In the picture I didn't notice the jacket had a tie closure - I might snip it off and put in a button instead and make it more of a blazer. The ties are a little long for me. The collar has a tendency to stand up in more of a mandarin style, I will have to iron it down next time I wear it. Also, the sleeves didn't appear full length to me in the photo, but they are. Great for work, got tons of compliments, and with a black cami I think it will be really cute for going out.

I am delighted with this jacket. It is a crazy mix of elegance and denim,so can be worn for a dressy occasion or a more casual one. I spent some time clipping hanging threads,but am very pleased with the garment. The price was a steal of a deal! I hope it wears O.K. as I can make use of it for quite some time.

I bought a size 6 and found it to be true to size--just right. I love that I can wear it with black dress pants and nice jewelry to dress it up, or I can pair it with dark wash jeans and black shoes and make it a dressy casual outfit for occasions when I need to look nice but don't want/need to go all out. I wear a black rayon sleeveless shell underneath. This is the best thing I've ever bought through Sierra. I highly recommend it.

Lovely, different jacket that you can dress-up or down.

This looked great in the picture, but it is denim sewed to a net backing, not very well done, the raw edges look messy, and the jacket has a tie instead of a button, which is placed too high, so that the jacket hangs poorly when tied, and with the long strings, can't be worn open. Too bad, normally I love Maggy London, their jackets are mostly wonderful, well made, good design.

MAKES ME FEEL GREAT AND LOOK GREAT.

I also got the matching skirt and this will be a great outfit for work, special occasions, etc.

I ordered the jacket thinking it would be a "different looking" denim jacket. It wasn't what I expected (the non-denim parts are a thin mesh). But I like the product I recieved more and have recieved many compliments on it including comments that it is "sexy-looking"! It is not heavy and I will likely wear it mostly to work in the office.

This is a beautiful and unusual jacket to wear on a mild evening to dress up a pair of jeans. The size 4 fits me very well and I am 5' tall so I'm not so sure you'll like the fit if you are very tall.
