    We washed these first, and stuck them in the dryer (against the laundry instructions on the tag), then put them on the bed without incident -- they fit our mattress perfectly. Getting into bed on a winter's night never felt as good as it does now. Thanks for stocking these wonderful flannel sheets, Sierra Trading Post!

    Bottom Line:
    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought these sheets in queen size, and washed them 4 or 5 times hoping they would soften up but they really didn't...they are not actually flannel, I think, more like a light weight canvas, with little or no nap as you expect flannel to have. I kept the ones I washed but returned the ones that were still in their packaging, as I couldn't see choosing these sheets for my bed if I have any other flannels available that are soft and fuzzy.
