I'm 6'3", 180 lbs and the XL is perfect. Typically, XL sizing is too wide in the stomach for me but necessary for the sleeve length. In this garment, XL is perfect as the overall width is nice and tailored. Sleeve length is also a plus, since it adequately covers my arms.

SENT THE XL BACK AND GOT THE XXL ( MYSELF 42/44 CHEST ) SO I CAN LAYER IT OVER A JACKET, FITS WELL , SLEEVES ARE A LITTLE LONG BUT NOT TO BAD, THEY STAY DOWN OVER GLOVES WITH THE VELCRO TABS SECURED, ZIPPER ON THE OTHER SIDE JUST TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO, ZIPPERS SEEM TO BE VERY GOOD QUALITY, OVER ALL I'D SAY THIS IS A VERY GOOD JACKET, SHARP LOOKING, SLEEK,CLEEN, NICE MATERIAL, COULD BE A SKI SHELL IF NOT ABUSED TO MUCH.

ORDERED AN XL ( 5-10 185 ) TO WEAR OVER LAYERS AS COLD SEASON SHELL, SMALLER TIGHTER IN CHEST THAN MY LARGE SIZE RAIN GEAR, NICE WELL MADE JACKET, MORE OF A RAIN JACKET THAN A SKI TYPE SHELL, ZIPS ON THE WRONG SIDE, MUST BE A ERO THING.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Was looking for a shell that could handle lots of insulating layers under it so ordered one size larger than I normally do. This shell is actually *smaller* than my usual XL size so it's not going to work. Quality seems to be good. Another frustration is that the zipper pull is on the left rather than right side.
