“OK insulating down jacket”

“This jacket had great reviews and I bought it under the impression that it would be a great insulation layer. The jacket that I received from STP has poor workmanship with loose threads at several places; it feels like a demo/test jacket. It's currently summer so I don't have an opportunity to test out its insulating property, but with a loft of less than 1 inch (3 cm), I doubt that it will keep me warm in snowy weather. The best quality of this jacket is that it's very light weight of < 1 lb, but there's not enough insulation / down to keep you warm in cold weather.”
