“I bought this pant for winter climbing. It is not suitable for this due to the fact that the bottom of the pant is quite wide and would easily catch crampons. Also, the gaiters are not ideal as they have no way to be attached to a boot. There is also no system for securing the pant legs, such as a rivet,that would allow you to run a cord under your boot. They are nicely made however they are not "soft shell". They would make a nice ski pant.”
