This is my second pair of Mammut shoes which I had never heard of before STP. they are incredibly comfortable and stylish as well. You can wear these shoes from casual to heavy trail use. I prefer to wear these shoes over nearly all my others from a comfort perspective

I really like the looks of these shoes and the rugged design for such a lightweight trail shoe. The sizing was a tad on the large side (and note that the sizing is UK not US). The full wrap-around rand on above the sole is a great feature for lower foot protection and shoe longevity in rocky or rooty areas. The vibram sole is grip, meaty, and fast. We'll see about durability.
The only concerns so far are the very thin laces and cord eyelets that look like the could blow-out or cut-through quickly.

All in all a worth while purchase after only a few outings thus far.

About Mammut

Mammut is a Swiss-based producer of high-quality mountaineering, climbing and trekking equipment. The company’s history actually dates back to the mid-1800’s, beginning with a single rope maker named Kaspar Tanner. By the 1940’s, the brand had officially adopted the mammoth logo and name. Originally specializing in Mammut ropes, the well-known alpine gear company eventually grew its product line to include mountaineering boots, crampons, harnesses and hardware. By the 1990’s, the product selection had grown even further to include Mammut jackets, pants, sleeping bags, Mammut packs and a host of other premium-quality essentials for the outdoor enthusiast.
