Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by mari from NJ on Sunday, November 24, 2013I have yet to try this out skiing the Rockies, but this coat feels like it will do the job. The purple shade is great with my light gray ski pants. It is a bit long, with a tapered waist, so it actually gives me a nice shape, compared to more relaxed fit jackets. Plenty of pockets, and the hood will fit over my helmet. I am very pleased with this purchase. I couldn't decide between medium and large, so I went with the large. It might be a bit big, but with layers, I will fill it out.
Reviewed by Marguerite Yourcenar from Eugene, OR on Monday, October 28, 2013I ordered this jacket in size small and exchanged it for size small because it was too wide (I am 5 f 6, 130 lbs). The plum color looks better than on the picture, and the contrast between plum exterior and light green lining, zippers, and logo works well. The jacket is conceived as a ski jacket, but I wear it as a street jacket on cold, rainy days in the Northwest. The fitted cut looks feminine and the hood fits snuggly around the head when you adjust it. I am very pleased.
Reviewed by Beth from New York on Monday, October 21, 2013Nicely made, but too big! Fit was very long. I had to send back!
Reviewed by Leelan41 from Michigan on Sunday, September 29, 2013Fits well for someone who normally wears size 6, which is a Medium in this jacket. The arm length is really long but I can live with that because the other qualities of this jacket are so nice. Feels warm just slipping it on as there is a nice soft fleece lining inside. Not bulky. I don't intend to wear this skiing but as an all around winter jacket. Some reviewers said it was long but for winter where I live, the extra length is welcome and I am only 5'2" so I wouldn't let the length stop you from trying this jacket.
