Mammut Fleece Jacket - Hooded (For Men)

I have worn this garment bouldering, alpine, backcountry & xc ski/skating, around town and to work (casual friday) and it served me well as a warmth layer beneath a light-weight wind shell. Owing to the armpit cut it doesn't reach well overhead (a negative for climbing) but the hood fits well (a surprise), shoulders and waist are just right and the overall fit is athletic. It will take the place of my old Lowe Ninja.

Runs small,had to order a size larger than I normally wear. Same way with other Mammut jackets I own.

I bought this piece as an underlayer for ice climbing. So far, I have been very happy with the fit and mobility of this garment. Movement is easy and there appear to be no restrictions in a wide range of motion. I wish it were a little heavier weight (thus a bit warmer), but for the weight that it is, it is an excellent second or third layer. I am very pleased with this piece and have always been a fan of mammut quality and attention to detail.

This is snazzy piece of high tech fleece. It's very light and very warm. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a versatile piece of clothing for hiking or mountaineering.

I'm very pleased with the fit and finish of this jacket. It's not bulky at all and quite warm for the weight. I've worn it a bit in the mornings on walks and it performs admirably. I'm looking forward to using it as a middle layer under my winter wear.

Overall, this fleece jacket is awesome. It is extremely comfortable, and the style of the jacket is really cool with all the top-stitching. Kind of has a vintage look to it (in the coffee color at least). Feels light weight but also warm. Another great addition to my Mammut collection!
