“I've used this shell for backpacking and back country skiing. It's very waterproof, windproof, light-weight and takes up very little room in my backpack. And the pits zips and meshed chest pockets keep it extremely breathable. However, this is only a shell. It has little to no insulating value whatsoever. But it is easy to layer clothing under.”
