Verified Buyer Reviewed by dj from las vegas, nv on Monday, July 30, 2012Very good fit . These boots hold my heel and do not allow slipping. Very well made and comfortable . Lots of room in the toe box, when you get the right size. My first pair were too small and jammed my toes. Thanks to STP and their great return policy I was able to get the correct size.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dougv from Bend, OR on Friday, July 13, 2012Haven't had these very long, but so far very satisfied. They are a mod stiff boot and require break in period. They are lighter than they look. Very happy so far

Reviewed by Kevin from SoCal on Wednesday, June 13, 2012I love this boot. I logged 30 miles in them over rough terrain last weekend climbing a 14er in the Sierras. They are comfortable with excellent lateral support. The full high rand makes them feel indestructible through scree. Because the first few laces use a flat webbing design, they work great with a strap-on style crampon giving you a nice snug fit. They also breathe well and are very waterproof. My only complaint is the UK sizing doesn't translate to a full size larger as STP suggests. I wear a size 10 US in a street shoe. I size up to a 10.5 in hiking boots to avoid jamming on big downhills. So, I bought the 9.5 UK, which is supposed to be equivalent to a 10.5 US. That wasn't my experience. Had major jamming issues. Fortunately STP is awesome about returns so they are exchanging them for me for another half size up. Great boot! Just be careful about the sizing.
