This is positively the most comfortable down jacket I've ever put on, and as Sierra Trading Post can attest to my many purchases and returns, I've bought A LOT of down jackets. I decided to try this one despite the fact that they only had this firey-red color in my size. Hands down, the most comfortable coat in the world. I'm not sure how warm yet because we haven't had the truly cold weather again, but so far, it looks really promising. I love the thumb holes to help keep hands warm if you forgot your mittens or to keep jacket tucked inside mittens to keep snow out and warmth in. the hood fits perfect and is an added bonus for the windy gusts of the Boulder, Co. area. And I've warmed to the firey color. I strut saying, Yea, that's right, I'm wearing a RED jacket! NO black or gray for me! Get it. got an xs and my chest is a 34, but I also have wide shoulders for my proportion. Try it. YOu'll like it!

The light blue is a beautiful color. Fits well, a medium I could throw over a shell on a back country ski trip - or I wear it alone on a sub zero winter day in the upper mid-west. Feels like I'm crawling into a sleeping bag every time I put it on!

I ordered this coat but had to return as it was too big. HOwever the quality seems absolutely top notch, would be extremely warm in very low temps (negatives and zero Farenheit would be all fine)

The arms are quite weirdly long and I'm a fairly tall person but everything is pretty great all together.

I would order a size down for sure. I'm 5'9 and 160 and large bust and I would get a medium but usually I wear medium to large....mostly larges.

Overall feel way puffy, I originally bought a large which was too big, but eh medium felt the same. I am 5'9 130 and the arms were long, but the length was too short. I bent over to try shoveling and snow was on my lower back. the neck/hood are also odd. Overall for me the fit wasn't right. I wanted to be as the pictures make this jacket look adorable! however, it was way to puffy all around.

ordered a small, my wife is 5'7" and 115 lbs, maybe a touch short on the fit in the torso, but she still loves it.

I love this jacket-it's the warmest puffy I've ever tried without a lot of balk and weight. The color is also fabulous (I ordered the blue) and I love that there's extra length in the design of the wrist liners to keep your hands warmer. The hood is detachable which is another nifty feature. It can withstand quite a bit of rain as I wore this in a recent blizzard and the rain didn't soak in. I plan to use this jacket for winter mountaineering and ski touring in the most extreme conditions. It's almost too warm for resort skiing as a layering piece under your ski shell.
