“Enough insulation up to the chest to keep you warm on colder days while keeping active, softshell upper for excellent range of motion for any outdoor activites (not waterproof though). In terms of size, I am 5'11" and a large was a great fit because I could fit a couple of base layers OR a midweight fleece underneath. Great jacket.”
