    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I got these for my husband who, after wearing them for a day, asked if I could order some more. BTW, he has never worn this kind of pants; it was either regular pants or shorts. They are perfect for walking, hiking, recreation, vacations, etc. The mid-calf length looks great in a "sporty" way. The fabric is thin and breathable and yet, despite it being thin, is not "clinging" to the body. The pants have tons of pockets (zipper and open). The cut of these pants is very comfortable; Velcro adjustment in the waistline is an additional plus. Since Sierra also carries these pants for women, my husband and I just have to be more careful when packing for vacation now.

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    Lots of pockets. Really comfortable. Leg opening fully adjustable ( contrary to the description the adjustment is a "pull string" not "tab" - would prefer the tab ). I indicated they were for warm weather, but they actually do quite well in cold weather with short snuggies and a pair of over the knee socks ( can sometimes find them in Bridgedale section at Sierra Trading Post ). I can understand the other reviewer not liking them - knickers ( or kniehosen or 3/4 pants ) aren't for everyone, but I've been wearing them for years.
