Doesn't hold up

I wore these one day on a scramble up a peak. The rubber toe protector complete peeled off, leaving the leather exposed. The leather was all scraped up from the rocks, and I can tell these boots just won't hold up to the scree and rocks encountered in alpine scrambles.
