“Excellent quality, puzzling design”

“Ok, first of all the good stuff: High quality materials and attention to detail. The style is very sleek and European..stretch panels run down the inside of the arms to the hem..and then joins at the upper back where another small Mammut logo is placed.(not shown in pic) The windstopper layer should make this jacket a bit warmer than your average fleece (no chance to test in July), and the thumb holes will help make a good glove interface.Now, having told you all that...who designed this thing? It's almost like the factory reversed the original design and it was too late to do anything about it. The outside is high loft, furlike fleece, yet the inside (including collar) is simply the windstopper material??? Seems this jacket would be more comfortable (and tons more water resistant) if the windstopper were on the outside and high loft in the interior. Or barring that, have it high loft-windstopper-high loft even if that would make the jacket a bit heavier. Even so, the "fur" looks unique and women will want to pet you all the time..lol. I'm keeping it simply because of that..[*]”
