Reviewed by Colorado Hiker from Colorado on Thursday, May 09, 2013Wonderfully soft, yet water repellent, although I haven't been in a downpour yet so not sure how it would do. The fleece lining is worth wearing sans inside shirt, it's that soft. Seems to run small so I ordered a large (I'm typically a size 8 - 10) and it fits great. The only drawback is the collar which stands up at the neck and pokes under the chin whether its zipped or not.

They seem true to size, but wider than any other boots I tried. I like them especially because they are cushioned at the top and really comfortable around the ankles.

I like the heft that reviewers have complained about--I didn't buy it for climbing but for downhill skiing--and am delighted how it feels overbuilt and durable. Unfortunately it just doesn't fit . It is too big for me yet still manages to be uncomfortably tight in the armpits. For a LONG time I considered keeping it anyway and use it with the pit zips open and if it was a little smaller I probably would have done just that. After a lot of deliberation I decided to return it. Bummer. It is a superbly made product with quality second to none.
