Mammut

I have worn these pants for several years hiking and climbing in all weather and seasons. They are great climbing pants.

This jacket is great for technical pursuits and looks great for casual wear too. The jacket is extremely light but provides ample warmth and can be vented for high activity purposes as well. My first Mammut product and I am really satisfied with quality and styling.

The description is INACCURATE, there are no hand pockets and no interior pockets, just the 2 on the chest that you can see on the photo, also no powder skirt. This is a highly technical shell that I would only recommend to a true outdoor pro and for outdoor rainy weather use only, I doubt I'll use it skiing. The lack of pockets makes it impractical for some. I would have sacrificed a little extra weight for being able to warm up my hands and/or to stash stuff when making a quick run into town or hanging out around the campfire. The small cut will probably make layering somewhat difficult. I had to get the size 2XL tho I usually wear XL. Over all, the quality and workmanship seem excellent.

Once you pull on this top, you will want to live in it 24/7. It's warm, super lightweight, unbelievably soft, AND the lines are very, very sexy. The only downsides, it runs slightly on the small size, so if you're in-between sizes, I would round up to the next size, and there are no pockets (hence the sleek lines).

The pants are very comfortable and I do really like them, however they might as well have not put pockets in them, their that small. Other than that, great pants.

Very very sharp-looking jacket. I get a lot of compliments Looks futuristic without looking silly. I have not tested this in the field, but purchased to use as hiking windshirt for mountain approach and casual. been wearing casually for a while - Pros - nice look - soft but durable-feeling - little water beads right off Cons - not sure what anyone is talking about this having stretch. Very not stretchy - this being the case, I like to pull up sleeves of jacket to just below elbow. This is impossible with this jacket as it has no stretch in material and the cuffs are velcro without elastic. This is a major flaw in my mind. - sleeves made for someone with monkey arms. I wear a 36 inch sleeve in dress shirt and this is a couple inches long in XL.

I love this moisture wicking shirt. I would normally wear a size M, but since they only had size L available in black, I got the Large and I'm glad I did. It fits beautifully. I would suggest that anyone ordering this shirt select one size up.
