“good gloves”

“These gloves are warm, windproof and waterproof. Took them out on a storm day and they did well. not so sure about wicking moisture away though. That's why I'm not sure about backcountry use. After I took them off for an outdoor lunch, I couldn't tell if they were slightly moist from perspiration on the inside or if they were just cool to the touch. They work well when on your hands though. They feel a little tight or restrictive in the extension, but hold a great grip. I'm hoping they loosen up just a bit as the leather wears in. It's not bad, just more difficult to one hand catch a ski pole someone tosses you. They are a bit beefier than my old gloves, so I'm adjusting to that, but great padding and protection. You can bat away small tree limbs without hesitation. It's what Mad Max might wear if he went skiing. For [$], you can't go wrong. I may even pick up another pair.”
