Reviewed by Renemy from San Francisco on Monday, August 5, 2013It's hard for me to fairly rate these gloves, because they ran pretty large. I am probably a "small" in gloves, and the S/M are just too large. The fingers are long *and* wide, which makes it hard for me to pick things up in them. Further, the fleece is very thick, so there is just that much more fabric/volume on my fingers. However, these are warm! The fleece is very soft, and I think the windproof black part works. I can use them just to ride my bike around during the cold SF summers, but I would not be able to do much else in them. If you are have medium-sized hands, give these a try in S/M.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by onthemove222 from DC Metro on Wednesday, January 16, 2013I like these. I broke my hand about three years ago and it hurts when it gets cold or if I'm driving and the steering wheel is cold. These provide warmth, are very comfortable and have a suede grip so I don't have to worry about my hand slipping off the wheel.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hoosier from So. GA on Tuesday, December 25, 2012Got them for my wife, being that we are moving from to the Midwest soon. They appear well sewn, although I do not believe they will be useful for extensive time spent outdoors. We'll see!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Gail the Farmer from Upstate New York on Friday, November 16, 2012I had hoped that they'd permit outdoor activities in winter: Not warm enough.
Reviewed by vtgrams from Vermont on Monday, October 29, 2012It isn't cold out yet, so I can't predict how warm these will be, but they are supposed to be windproof, so I'm hopeful. For the price they will be fine for errands, etc. even if not warm enough for hiking.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kaitie from Seattle, WA on Saturday, October 13, 2012These are really good gloves. The fleece is soft and warm. I have small hands, the S/M size is very slightly too long for my fingers but they still work. The cuffs are pretty long so you get really good coverage at the wrist. Despite being quite warm these are light and they easily fit into jacket pockets when I"m not wearing them. I'm considering ordering another pair in another color.
- Best Uses: Outdoor activities
- Pros: Soft, Warm
Reviewed by Winter wanderer from Rocky Mountains, CO on Friday, September 7, 2012My hands are wide and my fingers are short. These were tight (although stretchy) across the hand and too long in the fingers. The palm is reinforced and the back looks like it would block the wind - may be good for bicycle riding. If your hands are normal these would probably be nice gloves.
- Best Uses: Cool Weather
- Pros: Attractive, Stretchy
