Even more expensive ski gloves didn't do as well. I lost my original pair I got in 2010. So, I was thrilled that I could still purchase them. They are rated by warmth factor and I may try out some of the other warmth levels for different conditions.

Answer No, these are fleece gloves with Gore Windstopper which makes them windproof, but not waterproof.

Answer No, they're not. In my experience, no glove is waterproof for more than about 3 hours, but for home use on rainy days or in rainy climates where you're not going to be outside for a long time, you can find waterproof winter gloves on the Internet.
