The gloves are very soft and warm. They are true to size, but the sizing is slightly different from other brands. You need to measure your hand and select the appropriate size.

It hasn't been cold enough for me to really know how the gloves are when it gets below freezing and the wind is blowing. They seem like they will work great. They feel a little bulky but they're not really...it's hard to describe. They have substance but they are very flexible for winter gloves. I'll use them for wearing around town and driving when it's cold

I'm small boned (5'8, 130 lbs) and these gloves (Large) seemed a tiny bit too small. I got them for snowshoeing and as I heated up going uphill they were hard to get on and off (stuck to my skin). Wish they were a tad bigger.

As a result of the flooding from Irene, I have to ride my bike as a part of my daily commute. This morning it was 32 degrees and my hands were toasty warm as I coasted the steep downhill portion of the road, while still maintaining good control of the handlebars.

Sizing is off due to bulkiness. I typically wear a Men's Small, Women's Medium in gloves. The Women's Large just barely fits, and it is tough to curl the fingers (such as around a ski pole or hiking pole) due to all the bulk. Plus a snug fit causes fingers to get cold, no matter how much bulk due to restricted circulation. I bought two pairs of gloves in size large and one pair just fits, while the other pair is too small. I had a generous promo coupon, so I decided to keep them because the price was low, and I gave the smaller pair to my mom. I won't be using these for mountaineering or back-country skiing because too bulky to bend fingers and will be too hot when climbing up hill. They will be great for keeping warm while in camp, or walking in cold weather. Not good for high-aerobic output, or if you need good dexterity.

These were a great price and I need a warmer pair of gloves. However, it's too soon to know how they'll really perform. It's September and in the 70s, so all I can say is that they feel much warmer than my old gloves. I have long fingers and the glove fingers could be a little longer to accommodate my hands, but they're definitely wearable.
