    I'm a professional truck-driver.. They may be "Shootin' Gloves" but are also the perfect combo of different materials, in all the right places that make them fine for driving & other utilitarian purposes that don't require heavy-weight for cold, abuse protection or weather-proofing... I can even manage all the closely spaced, small buttons & dials on my cameras while wearing these gloves & in a pinch I might even use them while fishing in cooler weather, even though they're not water-proof or maybe even for golf but they'll be primarily just for driving... They'll work well for my purposes, since even in the dead of winter, I don't like heavy gloves....
