Marc New York by Andrew Marc Marley Aviator Jacket (For Men)

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend (who is taking flight lessons) and he absolutely loves it. It is light enough for comfortable movement yet surpisingly warm. The quality of stitching is excellent and the feel of the leather is soft & supple. From the first wearing- it has the look & feel of an old favorite that fits like a glove. Fashionable enough to wear out to dinner but practice enough for everyday use. This jacket is a winner!

The sleeves are a little to short (not enough to return) but overall a very nice jacket.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son, so it will be a while before I know if he loves it as much as I do. The overall quality of the jacket is just an amazing value. The leather and workmanship are first rate. I tried it on another similarly sized relative and it appears to be true to size (ordered the large) and should fit my son who is 6'2 and weights about 170. The one concern I do have is that it is quite heavy; on the other hand in our cold Central WA autumn and winters that can be a plus. I imagine this being worn for everyday - work and such - as well as being a jacket that will dress up jeans or slacks, seems very versatile. The shearling lining on the inside of the collar is also good quality as are the rest of the jacket's details. It is really stunning.

Classic look, will last forever!

I've had Marc/New York leather products before, so I knew what to expect. This jacket is high quality and stylish. The espresso color is perfect.

Very well made and very nice styling and tailoring. I would definitely recommend this jacket to another person, especially at this very reasonable price. Great buy!

An outstanding aviator jacket with removable real fleece collar liner! As another reviewer said, this is a hefty jacket with serious qualities! An excellent value at STP with additional discounts made this a no-brainer. Nice dark chocolate brown, excellent quality throughout, and a classic. This is a keeper for sure.

Very substantial, thick leather, but butter soft. (Hoping, in fact, that the leather will not be too delicate over the long haul, as happened once with a jacket I owned.) Good cut and length, with ample room for a sweater underneath. Personally, not a fan of the fur collar, but collar is easy to put on or off and coat looks better (to me) without it.

I have owned Andrew Jacob's leather jackets in the past & believe he has the best out there. I was looking for a classic jacket to wear in the cold Chicago winter & found it on Sierra Trading Post at a great price.

I own (and have owned) many leather jackets. It's a 'thing.' If I had to line up all 12-15 leather jackets I've owned in just the past 3 or 4 years -- I would ... hands down ... pick this one as my favorite. I have half a dozen black jackets of varying styles - and black just isn't my color, sorry to say. I wanted a brown of any sort, and so I'm very happy with this color.This is my first purchase of clothing via the Internet. Only problem - the pictures of the color of the jacket aren't true. My monitor shows it as a darkish caramel. It isn't - it's a true brown. Not the black-brown 'dark brown' that Marc sells - but a nice shade of true brown. Of the 2 photos shown on [...], the second (smaller, detail photo) is truer to the color - but it's not quite as dark. Again, these are known monitor issues, but you should be aware of them.This jacket is, I'm quite sure, made of lamb. And trust me - nobody does lamb like Andrew Marc. I was anticipating a fairly lightweight lamb jacket, but this thing is surprisingly hefty. The shipping weight was 6 lbs - the jacket prob. weighs 5 of that. Nowhere near as heavy as a motorcycle jacket, of course, but it's not a light spring leather jacket. Extreme attention to detail, as expected. The pix on [...] don't do it justice (using a plastic modeling form, I'm not surprised). It doesn't hang like a dead weight - it looks fantastic on. There are more gorgeous details that simply aren't shown in the cheesy 2 photos they show. Starting at one cuff, running straight up the arm, across the back, and down the other arm -- 6 rows of parallel stitching, rows about 1/4" apart. Simple but it looks great. The zipper is a real heavy duty job too - not wimpy in the least. The standup collar looks very sharp. And in winter I'd much prefer a nice fleece against my neck than a cold leather piece. It's removable to wash, or to simply change the look.[...].In short - you will not be disappointed in this jacket. It's fantastic looking, fits like a glove, and I can't think of a single thing about it that I would change.
