“I bought this to replace a pea coat from the 60's (!!!) I gave away long ago and had missed it since. The Andrew Marc version is excellent, a fine wool blend twill and very comfortable ("softer" and perhaps less weighty than my original - but this has it's advantages, too). This is perfect, age-refined styling and versatility - wear it casually with a turtleneck or shirt, jeans or khakis, dress it up some with slacks, or wear it traveling and for going out and having fun (and staying warm at the same time). I think one could find the nautical design buttons at a fabric shop if it were important to change out the smooth black buttons on this coat to look like the original issue version.”
