Marc New York by Andrew Marc Murphy Pea Coat - Wool Twill (For Men)

College student, great coat for dress or with jeans

I bought this to replace a pea coat from the 60's (!!!) I gave away long ago and had missed it since. The Andrew Marc version is excellent, a fine wool blend twill and very comfortable ("softer" and perhaps less weighty than my original - but this has it's advantages, too). This is perfect, age-refined styling and versatility - wear it casually with a turtleneck or shirt, jeans or khakis, dress it up some with slacks, or wear it traveling and for going out and having fun (and staying warm at the same time). I think one could find the nautical design buttons at a fabric shop if it were important to change out the smooth black buttons on this coat to look like the original issue version.

This jacket was a great deal, fit well, and was made of nice materials. The buttons came loose within the first week of wear. I took it to the cleaner's and she reinforced all of the buttons. I haven't had a worry since and am very warm. Thanks Sierra Trading Post

I bought this for my fiance, who has always wanted one.He loves it! It is comfortable and stylish.

I find this product to be as good as advertised. I look stylish at work and going out when wearing the coat. Also, the coat allows me to stay very warm in cold weather.

Looks good with casual use and looks good when you want to look more dressed up

I purchased this as a substitute for a military peacoat that was worn out. I expected higher quality for the same price and I was not disappointed. The fit and cut are superior. My only personal disappointment was that it was lighter than the government issue, and did not have anchor buttons. The quality more than makes up for these personal shortfalls.

Going out to dinners, I use this the most at those occasions including parties.
