“I love the ability to throw this in my pack, and hike to a mountain lake or stream without the worry of catching it on a tree or having it get beat up like my 4 piece case does. It's obviously a little more stiff then a 2 piece, but I believe the compact and packable size is more then worth the slight loss in performance. For the person looking for a very high quality pack pole!”
