The frigid temperatures this year prompted me to add a down jacket to my ski wardrobe. I wore it on a 28 degree day with wind gusts up to 35mph with a base layer and a Neve sweater underneath. Nice and toasty! This jacket is very flattering. Yes, it is somewhat "puffy" but the diagonal stitching draws the eye downward and has a "slimming" effect. The numerical sizing also offers a better fit b/c it is not cut to fit a size "range" (s/m/l). I am "short-waisted" and the waist on many jackets falls 2 or 3 inches below mine. Ugh. This jacket fits just right.
