Although it is wind-resistant, it IS still a fleece product and not wind-proof. I love the pink and black color combination; but the best part of this is that there is NO velcro on it whatsoever! It is a stylish and functional jacket.

Question “Does this run large? I am usually a small at a size 6-8 and only about 5 ft. tall. This description says the small is a size 4-6, so if it runs big I can use the small vs. medium.”

Answer Because I have long arms, I have to order an X-LG.|I am 5'8" and 140 lbs, it fits very comfortably and does not look too big but is plenty roomy. It definitely is not snug or form fitting on me. So many soft shell jackets are stiff in the arms, this is very supple. It fits over light clothing nicely but would be too tight if over another fleece.

Answer The jacket is made with Gore Windstopper fabric, which is water-resistant. However, Gore cautions that Windstopper should not be considered waterproof.
