Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mango on the mountain from Colorado on Monday, December 22, 2014I bought the orange one in size 6 but this brand runs a little bigger than other brands I bought on this site, so should've chosen 4 which is my top size.
Fortunately the waist circumference is adjustable with two Velcro straps so that these pants don't fall. They are also loose fit on the hips and calves. Loose fit allows more motion, just less fashionable in my opinion, as compared to the slim fit Phoenix pants I bought on this site. I have big thighs, these pants cover them very well but also make my calves look short somehow, so I probably won't buy the same fit again. As far as warmth, I think they are good in cold days on the mountains.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by EC from Tahoe on Thursday, December 18, 2014These pants are working well for me! I like their medium insulation and waterproofing; no cold, wet backside to speak of yet! They aren't too warm for the snowy days we've been getting lately, and I love that I can zip open the leg vents to cool off in case of a bluebird day.
Reviewed by Outdoor Fun from ADKs on Thursday, October 30, 2014I ordered these a size larger than I normally wear and they were too big, so I would say they are true to size. I am going to return them for that reason, but also, NOTE....the back of these have 2 large pockets on the butt with snaps. I prefer to have a smooth butt. I did like the feel of the material and construction.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tina from New York, NY on Thursday, October 2, 2014I haven't had a chance to wear these yet since it's autumn, but I tried them on with my underarmor pants and did a lot of bending/stretching. These are very comfortable.
Reviewed by Ski Mama from Washington on Thursday, August 7, 2014I bought the Marker Ava pants along with the Marker Jacquie, Obermeyer Delia, and Descente Annie Snow Pants. All were purchased in a size 6. I typically wear a 4, but sized up to account for layering. I am 5'6" and 125 pounds, athletic build. I like the Marker Ava and Marker Jacquie pants the best. They both fit well through the hips and the length is good on both. The Marker Ava Pants are thicker so they will be warmer. They sit a little lower on my hips. They have great options for adjusting the waist. The Marker Jacquie pants are higher waisted, so they will be probably keep the snow out better when wearing a shorter coat. They are fitted through the waist. They are lighter weight for warmer ski days. The prices are so great, I plan to keep both pair!
