Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Middle age Mom from New Jersey on Thursday, January 1, 2015I am 5'6", 138 lb and ordered a size 8. These snow pants are light and seem to be well-made, with adequate pocketing and venting, but the cut around the hips and thighs were overly generous for my body shape, so I am returning.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by cg- dogwalker from petaluma,ca on Monday, November 17, 2014These pants were well insulated and I liked the overall cut, but the size 10 I ordered were pretty generous. I usually were a size 10 jean-but these could have fallen off my hips. They were a mid rise fit, and maybe a little low. I think an 8 would have fit OK. I am 5'7" almost 150lbs. OH well, just keep shopping!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lucinda from Australia on Tuesday, June 3, 2014These feel like they'd be super warm and comfortable but a size 6 is huge in the legs. They look straight up and down in the hip/upper thigh area from the picture but they are very baggy which isn't particularly flattering. I am now buying the size 4 at my own risk. Fingers crossed.
Reviewed by DogMom from Massachusetts on Saturday, February 15, 2014Excellent quality but the fit is not for me so I must return. The legs are quite long and there is plenty of room in the hip/thigh area, but the waist is too smakk and lowin front for me...
Reviewed by granny from South DakotA on Monday, May 6, 2013I had to return the item, it was HUGE. I have yet to receive a credit on my account. Hope I'm not going to have a problem.

“I am 5'2" and chubby. I wear a size 1X or W16 petite or short. I can't seem to find any well insulated ski pants with elastic waist to fit me.”

“Trying to figure out what size to order based on the other reviews...is there a reccomendation for choosing size based on the prior issues? Should I go by the size chart or not???”
“Hi - I'm currently between a 10-12... for example, I'm a Banana Republic 10, but other brands I'm a size 12. Would I be better off ordering the 8 in these pants, or the 10? I'm a bit hesitant to order an 8 in anything, so advice from someone with experience or similar size would help. I'm 5-7/164 lbs and my waist is usually 30 give or take, at the proper waist. Hips vary, but are about 38 right now. I notice the sizing on the chart doesn't seem to be accurate as some have said.”
I would recommend ordering a 12
Personally, I prefer a bit more room in ski pants . You have the option to add layers number one and you have comfort to bend. These pants come with waist velcro adjustments so they can be fit snug . They are a bit roomier than the advertised size. If you want to layer then 12 if not 10 should be fine.
