I had to return the item, it was HUGE. I have yet to receive a credit on my account. Hope I'm not going to have a problem.

I haven't tried these out in the snow yet, but they fit well for my ample waist line and I particularly like the side zippers which allow for a bit of mesh screened ventilation for when getting too warm. The insulation is fairly heavy but not as bulky as what many ski pants are. It has nice zippered pockets.

After reading all the reviews I got a size 16 thinking they ran so small...they were HUGE (I typically wear a 12, I am 5'10"). That said, I LOVE these pants. I had to return them but the cut, style and everything else was great. I want to exchange but settled for another pair as they arrived the day before my ski trip.

These seem to be great pants, except for the fact that the butt is huge. I ordered a medium and I could have swam in them. I usually wear a med/small and granted, I have very little butt. They have alot of insulation and look very warm. The pockets and zippers look nice and well constructed. I liked the tabs on the sides to fit the waist accordingly. I returned these pants, but if you have shapely hips and are looking for warmth, I recommend them.

  • Question “Trying to figure out what size to order based on the other reviews...is there a reccomendation for choosing size based on the prior issues? Should I go by the size chart or not???”

  • Question “Hi - I'm currently between a 10-12... for example, I'm a Banana Republic 10, but other brands I'm a size 12. Would I be better off ordering the 8 in these pants, or the 10? I'm a bit hesitant to order an 8 in anything, so advice from someone with experience or similar size would help. I'm 5-7/164 lbs and my waist is usually 30 give or take, at the proper waist. Hips vary, but are about 38 right now. I notice the sizing on the chart doesn't seem to be accurate as some have said.”
Asked on 2/6/2012 12:00:00 AM by JessWiz from Jeffersonville, VT
    • Answer I would recommend ordering a 12

    • Answer Personally, I prefer a bit more room in ski pants . You have the option to add layers number one and you have comfort to bend. These pants come with waist velcro adjustments so they can be fit snug . They are a bit roomier than the advertised size. If you want to layer then 12 if not 10 should be fine.
