I got this under one of the coupon specials so at a great price. I call it versatile since it seems to work in a number of variable conditions, from just chilly to kind of cold. It resists wind, light snow - just a great choice to walk out the door. I have not used it as a mid-layer, but think it could fit that purpose. In the late Fall I stuffed it in my daypack for hiking since it is light & stuffs down. The one minor item I might raise is that an inside pocket would be nice - but still, I'm giving it a good solid score, and would recommend it.

It doesn't fit athletic, but the quality is OK. Like how pockets are made

A really warm jacket. Light weight, comfortable fit. I normally wear a medium. I bought a medium and it fits like a glove. I'm 5' 8" 165 lbs. The quality is great. The colors are fantastic. I bought the red and grey. Love them both. I wish they had put a couple of inside pockets in this jacket. You really need them these days. Over all I'm very pleased. Highly recommended.

This is not the lightest or warmest jacket out there but the price for this jacket is unbeatable. Warm and fits well.

Although this jacket is light-weight, it keeps you warm in the cold weather in the Utah mountains during the winter.

This is a good jacket insulated for colder weather but thin enough to layer over/under with most clothing if needed. The zippered pockets are deep and micro-fleece lined as is the collar. All zippers are YKK. I'm 6' and 190 lb and take a 35/36 sleeve so normally choose a LT or XL for shirts and jackets. The XL jacket is the one I got and am keeping. Marker products seem to run large so the XL was very roomy but I prefer a loose fit anyway . The L size may have worked for others my size who prefer a closer conforming fit.. The sleeves on the XL for me were a tad long even for my long arms but the elastic cuff was snug enough to keep the cuffs from riding down too far over my hands. That all said if you like a roomy loose fit go your normal size-if you like things trim and close to the body you may want to go down a size. The sleeves tend to run long but the elastic cuff will probably make sleeve length a moot factor for many.
