Closeouts. When conditions call for serious warmth, shroud yourself in Marker's Shroud Down jacket. Inside the waterproof breathable nylon dobby shell is 600 fill power goose down, so you're not shivering when Arctic air descends.

This jacket has fantastic design elements. The color, length, thumb-hole sleeve seals, adjustable drawcord, powder skirt are all first rate. Great design on the hood, too, for a change. This would rate 5 stars except - The insulation is nearly nonexistent. If you are active and _stay_ active at 25° or above you're golden. I was sitting still for 10 minutes in a 5mph breeze at 30° wearing a heavy cotton shirt and a heavy fleece under it and could feel the cold on the backs of my arms, chest and back - hood was toasty. After I took the jacket off it was cold inside the jacket. Understand, I spend a lot of time outside and not nearly a wimp. This jacket has *maybe* 1/2" of down at the thickest point - I almost returned it on sight but decided I needed to try it out first. I'm returning the jacket: I bought it to replace my 15° jacket which is showing its age.

I bought this jacket for my husband. He wears a size XL, size exactly approached. Remains the little bit of space to under his jacket to wear a sweater. Very beautiful color! Jacket easy, very comfortable, there is no frost to test it on a heat-shielding. My husband is very pleased! Thank You Sierra Trading!

I'm 5'9"/ 170/and I wear a 41R suit. A Large fits me pretty well--trim but not tight; I can fit a sweatshirt atop a turtleneck. Since it's late in the season, I can't tell how it will feel when the temp goes low, but in the teens/low 20s I find it warm. The coat has nylon sleeve extenders with thumb openings, I guess for skiing. I don't use them. The coat covers my butt and is well-insulated. I hope it's warm. The hood is removeable and the zipper is wide and opens from the bottom. Dealing with STP was, as it's been since they started, very agreeable.
