I had hoped for a comfortable ski pant that moved with me, and was not binding. I had tried another Marker ski pant, and almost kept it, but it was a bit too stiff, as well, and way too much Velcro which hurts my hands and tears up silk long underwear and shirts. I returned it and kept one more comfortable.

Instead I decided to order a size 4 after reading a review on this website for these pants. The size 4 fits me perfectly and the pants feel very comfortable and light. They don't feel to bulky - they are a rather slim cut. I do think they are easy to move around in also.

I like these ski pants a lot - seem to be well constructed of quality fabric. I have not used them yet - too late in the season now - so can only give four stars. I originally ordered an 8 according to measurements on Marker website - I have 29" waist, 39" hips. The 8 was too baggy, hung down on my hips. Returned for a 6 - which is what I wear in other brands; it is form-fitting but comfortable. I'm 5'6", the length is just right. I don't care for the hook & eye at the waist closure (in addition to snap), the Olympus soft shell pant has velcro in addition to a snap - much easier!
