“This is a perfect day-to-day and ski jacket for my high school son. It is NOT insulated whatsoever, though it is designed as a ski jacket, e.g., it has a moisture barrier sewn into the bottom inside of the jacket. It needs to be layered with a fleece or other source of warmth. This is fine with me as I like the idea of layered garments. It is a well-designed and produced garment and, of course, as waterproof as they come given its use of Gore-Tex as the waterproof barrier in the fabric.”
