    Seems to be a perfect all around,all regional jacket.it's lightly insulated but if you layer buy the next size up.I ski a wide range of variable conditions alaska,pacific n.w.,tahoe,wasatch/rockies,and even some east coast.always been dry,however,it needs pit zips and more room (diameter)at the end of sleeves to fit over your gloves.The hood snaps and zips off easily and chest pockets too deep to access things with gloves on.
