    These fleece tights seem well made from quality material. They should be perfect underneath shell pants for downhill skiing. Beware: they run small. I had to return a pair of Large for Xtra Large.

    This venture I've taken into the world of light weight, breathing, warm man-made fabrics has made me a believer. The product performs as described and I'm amazed at the warmth without weight properties. Laundering was easy. Tossed them in the sink with woolite and hung them to dry indoors. These, combined with merino wool and other breathing layers are just a great way to go in the cold weather. When the temperature gets into the teens next winter I imagine that my down parka will be needed to top off the underlying layers. Not having to carry around all of the weight any more is a real plus and I'm happy that I have finally learned what to do.
