    This is a good value for a cool weather diamond quilted jacket. XL fit me perfect (I'm six two, 185 pounds, slender build). Would work as a shell or an insulating layer. Two drawbacks: no cinch cord for the waist, and no zippers on the hand pockets, so it's not at the level of a north face jacket or similar, but still good for the price and attractive.

    This jacket is of good construction and seems like it will last a few seasons. It is very warm for a thinner jacket. My intended use is skiing but it may be too warm for me, I get hot easily. Hoping thinner layers under will work out. People comment on how nice the jacket looks. Bottom line - Classic jacket at a great price.
